Company ProfileStudio One was established in 1972. Over the years we have worked for many national accounts producing creative advertising/marketing and public relations solutions. Studio One was founded by Bill Roberts. He began his career as an art director in New York, was recruited by a west coast advertising agency that took him to Seattle where they opened a northwest office. There he was quickly promoted to creative director and lead a creative team of writers, designers and production people. Roberts soon opened his own creative boutique. The staff quickly grew to more than twenty-five creative and account service people. In the beginning the company concentrated its energy in service to other ad agencies and printers. Their expertise in graphic design, illustration, still photography and film production service was the main focus of the business and through the encouragement of their clients they soon became a full service advertising agency. With advancing capabilities of computer technology, Roberts redirected the company business development and pioneered interactive multimedia using computer graphics and laser disk technology. The growth or the business helped to established offices in Seattle, Honolulu and San Diego where he developed a new interactive media using computer graphics, laser disk and cybertronics for stand-alone touch-screen kiosks. The target focus for new business became the visitor and travel industry. In 1996 Roberts returned home to New England where he was born and raised. For the past three years he has worked as a consultant to several ad agencies and corporations. Bill sees himself as a hands-on creative director working for companies to establish their desired position through corporate communications, advertising and marketing.
